# Prime Number Generator to Create List of Prime Numbers

Calculator Preferences
Prime Number List Generator

This calculator will create a custom prime numbers list of up to 10,000 primes, with primes ranging from 2 to 104,730. For example, you could either create a delimited list containing the first 100 prime numbers, or a list of the primes that occur between 100 and 500. Plus, you can also tell the generator to format the list into a custom prime numbers chart for printing.

#### Selected Data Record:

A Data Record is a set of calculator entries that are stored in your web browser's Local Storage. If a Data Record is currently selected in the "Data" tab, this line will list the name you gave to that data record. If no data record is selected, or you have no entries stored for this calculator, the line will display "None".

#### Prime number list options:

Tap one of the two options to indicate how you would like to select the set of prime numbers. The next line will change to match your selection.

The left-hand option will generate a list from the number 2 through the number of primes you enter in the field.

The right-hand option will create a set of primes between the two numbers you enter.

Note that the maximum first number of primes is 10000 and the maximum ending between entry is 104730.

Move the slider to left and right to adjust the calculator width. Note that the Help and Tools panel will be hidden when the calculator is too wide to fit both on the screen. Moving the slider to the left will bring the instructions and tools panel back into view.

Also note that some calculators will reformat to accommodate the screen size as you make the calculator wider or narrower. If the calculator is narrow, columns of entry rows will be converted to a vertical entry form, whereas a wider calculator will display columns of entry rows, and the entry fields will be smaller in size ... since they will not need to be "thumb friendly".
